How it works

Simple PDF workflow

  1. Choose an action. Merge, split, rotate or create a PDF from images.
  2. Select your files. Upload PDFs or images depending on the selected tool.
  3. Process and download. Niva Tools prepares a downloadable PDF directly in your browser.

Current scope

Ready for common PDF tasks

PDF Toolkit focuses on practical everyday actions: combining PDFs, extracting pages, rotating pages and creating PDF documents from images.

Advanced compression, OCR, password protection and PDF text editing can be added later with a more specialized conversion engine.

Merge PDF safely

Merge PDFs safely online

Use Merge PDF when you need to combine forms, receipts, class notes, signed pages or business documents into one downloadable file. Select two or more PDFs, process them in the browser and review the final page order before sharing.

For best results, name source files clearly and arrange them in the order you want before merging. Keep a copy of the originals in case you need to rebuild the document later.

Split PDF pages

Split PDF pages without an account

Use Split PDF to extract selected pages from a larger document. Page ranges such as 1-3,5 let you pull out exactly the pages you need into a new PDF file.

Before downloading, verify the page numbers, especially when the original document has cover pages, blank pages or scanned inserts that can shift the count.

Browser processing

PDF processing in the browser

For the supported actions in this version, selected files are loaded locally in your browser and processed with a client-side PDF library. NivaTools does not require an account for these PDF actions and this static tool does not upload selected PDFs to NivaTools servers.

Very large PDFs, encrypted files or unusual PDF structures can take longer or fail depending on browser memory and library support. Always review the downloaded result before using it officially.

Clear limits

Current limits: no OCR or text editing

PDF Toolkit is designed for page-level tasks: merge, split, rotate and images to PDF. It does not currently provide advanced PDF compression, OCR, password removal, password protection or text editing inside existing PDF pages.

If a PDF is a scanned image, page operations can still work, but extracting or editing the visible text requires OCR software outside this tool.

Practical guide

Safe everyday PDF workflows

PDF Toolkit focuses on common PDF tasks: merging documents, splitting pages, rotating pages and creating PDFs from images. These actions are useful for forms, scanned documents, receipts, class notes, business files and simple document organization. Instead of using several separate utilities, you can work through a small set of practical PDF actions in one browser-based interface.

The most reliable PDF workflow starts with clean source files. Name files clearly, check page order before merging and use page ranges carefully when splitting. If a PDF contains scanned pages, remember that the visible text may actually be part of an image. In that case, page operations can still work, but text editing or extraction may require OCR software outside this tool.

For privacy, avoid uploading documents containing passwords, financial details or sensitive personal information to any online tool unless you understand how processing works. Niva Tools prioritizes browser-first workflows where possible, and important documents should always be checked after processing. For more detail, read the safe PDF workflow guide.

FAQ

PDF Toolkit questions

Yes. You can select a PDF, enter page ranges such as 1-3,5 and download the extracted pages without creating an account.

The current PDF Toolkit workflow processes supported PDF actions in the browser using client-side PDF libraries. This static tool does not upload selected PDF files to NivaTools servers.

Not in this version. Advanced PDF compression, OCR, password tools and text editing require more specialized processing and are listed as limits for the current browser toolkit.

What should I check before sharing the result?

Check file order, page ranges, rotation, output filename and whether the final document contains sensitive information before sharing it.
