How it works
Simple QR creation
- Choose a QR type. Pick URL, text, Wi‑Fi, WhatsApp, email, vCard or event.
- Add your content. Enter the details and adjust size, margin or colors.
- Generate and download. Save the QR code as PNG or SVG for your project.

Print reliability
Keep the code dark on a light background, leave enough margin around the square and test it on more than one phone before printing. SVG is usually the safest option for scalable restaurant menus, table tents, posters and other print work.
For physical materials, avoid tiny sizes, busy backgrounds and overly long encoded text. A short menu URL or landing page is usually easier to scan than a long block of text.
Restaurant menus
Use the URL QR type for restaurant menus, cafe specials, booking pages or seasonal offers. Add the menu link, generate the code, then download PNG for simple documents or SVG for table tents, posters, flyers and window signs.
For reliable scanning, keep the menu URL short, avoid busy backgrounds and test the printed QR code from real table distance before ordering final materials.
Wi-Fi access
Use the Wi-Fi tab to encode the network name, password, encryption type and hidden-network setting. The Wi-Fi key is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to NivaTools servers.
This is useful for cafes, offices, guest rooms, waiting areas and small events where visitors need quick network access without typing a long password.
Static QR codes
NivaTools creates static QR codes in the browser. The generated code contains the text, link, Wi-Fi string, vCard or event details you enter. It does not add tracking redirects, scan analytics or editable campaign links.
For menus, Wi-Fi signs and business cards, static QR codes are simple and privacy-friendly. If you need analytics or editable destinations after printing, you would need a separate dynamic QR service.

Practical guide
QR Code Generator is useful for creating scannable codes for websites, menus, Wi-Fi access, contact details, messages, events and plain text. A reliable QR code is not only about sharp pixels. It also needs enough contrast, a quiet margin around the code and an amount of encoded data that is reasonable for the printed or displayed size.
For best results, keep the background light and the code dark, leave clear space around the square and test the code with more than one phone before printing it. Very long URLs, large vCards or complicated Wi-Fi strings can make the QR pattern dense. Dense codes may still work, but they usually need to be printed larger and with better contrast.
Use PNG for quick digital sharing and SVG when you need a scalable file for design or print. Avoid placing QR codes over busy photos, gradients or textured backgrounds unless you are certain the contrast remains strong. A simple black-on-white code is often the most dependable choice. FAQ
Yes. Add the restaurant menu URL, generate the QR code and download PNG for simple sharing or SVG for scalable print materials such as table tents, flyers, receipts and window signs.
Yes. The Wi-Fi network name and password are processed locally in your browser to create the QR code. NivaTools does not upload or store the Wi-Fi key on a server.
No. QR Code Generator creates static QR codes in the browser and does not track scans, redirect visitors or store the links generated with the tool.
Use PNG for quick digital sharing and simple documents. Use SVG when the restaurant menu QR code needs to stay sharp in table tents, flyers, posters or design software.
QR codes are harder to scan when contrast is weak, the margin is too small, the printed size is tiny or the encoded content is too long and dense.
Yes. You can create vCard QR codes with contact details for business cards, events and networking materials.
